Ocean Winds is the exclusive owner of the BC-Wind Project, holding sole rights to develop offshore wind farms across two adjacent sites.

Located within Poland’s Baltic Sea Exclusive Economic Zone, approximately 23 kilometres offshore at an altitude north of the municipalities of Krokowa and Choczewo in the Pomeranian Province. These project sites encompass an area of 90.94 square kilometres and capacity of up to 500 MW, representing a substantial investment in renewable energy. In September 2020, the projects were granted grid connection conditions, followed by the signing of a grid connection agreement in March 2021. Subsequently, the project has completed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) surveys and in June 2021, the project received the right to a Contract for Difference (CfD) from the Energy Regulatory Office, making it one of the first offshore investments to be completed in Poland.

After nearly 12 months, the geophysical and geotechnical survey campaign in both the offshore wind farm area and the export cable corridor was concluded in 2024.

Presently, the project is focused on selecting and contracting key suppliers for the components of the offshore wind farm, strategic planning for the service base, and finalizing geotechnical surveys on land.
