The Dieppe-Le Tréport & Yeu-Noirmoutier Projects are a joint venture between CDC Investment Works, Sumitomo, Vendée Energie and Ocean Winds.
The projects which were awarded in 2014 obtained all their consents end 2018 beginning 2019. Dieppe-Le Tréport project represents 496 MW and Yeu-Noirmoutier project 488 MW for a total of 984 MW, one is located in the Chanel off Le Tréport and Dieppe cities and the other one in the Atlantic off Yeu and Noirmoutier Islands.
President Macron has offered his public support for the development of offshore wind farms in France, with the country now planning to award tenders for another 8.5GW between 2021 and 2028, at an additional 1GW per year.
The team is therefore fully dedicated to considering all possible optimizations while managing consent and offer compliancy and prepare next steps, under this challenging new framework.
