Madrid, 12th December 2023: Ocean Winds (OW), an international offshore wind energy company created by EDP Renewables (EDPR) and ENGIE (50:50), has received the Great Place to Work certification in four locations. For the fourth time in Spain, where its headquarters are locat-ed; for the third consecutive year in the United Kingdom, OW’s biggest market presence with cur-rently four offshore wind projects; for the second time, in Poland, where Ocean Winds is develop-ing the BC-Wind project, and for the first time, in the United States, with three projects currently in their development phase.
The GPTW certification is a two-step process obtained through an independent analysis where employees play a key role, as they must complete a survey, providing feedback that gives an ac-curate portrayal of OW’s work environment.
For the company, receiving this accreditation is significant as it demonstrates OW’s commitment to employee satisfaction and the ongoing dedication to strengthening it. At OW, internal processes and policies are frequently revised and redefined to ensure the proper integration of and satisfac-tion with the principles of flexibility, equality, autonomy and trust, the pillars of OW’s way of work-ing and corporate culture.
